Is NeutraSal safe to use?

NeutraSal has an established safety profile:

  • NeutraSal is an oral rinse that is not to be swallowed. If NeutraSal is swallowed accidentally, no negative effects are expected
  • NeutraSal contains salt. If you are on a low-salt diet, you should consult your doctor before use
  • Does not go through your system or affect the rest of your body
  • No known drug interactions

Does NeutraSal have any potential allergens like wheat or nuts?

NeutraSal has no wheat, nuts, eggs, gluten, yeast, milk, soy, shellfish, or preservative ingredients. There have been no reported allergies, but it is not impossible that one could occur.

Will NeutraSal cure my dry mouth or oral mucositis?

No, NeutraSal relieves the symptoms of dry mouth and oral mucositis while helping to restore the oral environment. You should consult your dentist or healthcare provider for more information.

How does NeutraSal taste?

NeutraSal has a slightly salty taste; however, most people are not bothered by the taste.

Can I mix NeutraSal in more than 1 ounce (30 mL) of water, for example, a full glass of drinking water (6 to 8 ounces)?

NeutraSal must be mixed in 1 ounce of water for the full benefit of the rinse.

Why does NeutraSal have to be used within 15 seconds after mixing? Can I mix it in the morning and use it later that day?

NeutraSal should be used within 15 seconds after mixing to receive the full benefit. After 15 seconds, some of the benefits of the rinse will be reduced.

Can I eat or drink after rinsing with NeutraSal ?

You should not eat or drink for 15 minutes after rinsing with NeutraSal.

Is NeutraSal approved for use in children?

There are no warnings against its use for children, as long as children use NeutraSal according to the Instructions for Use, which may require adult supervision. NeutraSal is a prescription oral rinse, requiring a dentist's or healthcare professional's recommendation, and should be kept out of reach of children.
